Preparing for a family portrait is not for the faint of heart. If you done it even once, you know this. It’s not as easy as it looks, is it? Especially if you, mom, or dad, are the ones with the nice camera on a tripod with a timer, trying to get everyone to look AT THE SAME TIME!? HOW HARD CAN IT BE, RIGHT?

From wedding to maternity to newborn to every family photo, one of my favorite things is being there from the beginning and becoming the family photographer. Nothing is as sacred as family, and being present in their lives every year is an honor.
