So, my first thought as I was thinking about writing this post was, “I have to find alll of those old photos from my photography classes when I was 15!”
Unfortunately, that was 2004 or something, and the internet was not what it is today… so alas, all I have to share are some photos from a 2008 class in Colorado (at which point, “the facebook” had in fact, come into existence).
Oh man, good times. (Glad they’re behind me.)
I was impacted by the prowess of Mandy, Christina, Rowan, and Will, in addition to countless others who poured into teaching so many of us the ins and outs of photography.
I took in-person photography classes and expeditions from 2004 to 2008, and some of those expeditions and classes included:
It can be so overwhelming to learn your camera, and it doesn’t have to be. It all starts with exposure (which is simply how bright or dark you want your photo to be), and the camera gives us tools to control that!
It’s that easy, and I want to make this simple for you so that you can feel confident taking photos of your children, your families, your garden, birds, or anything!
Class is from 9am to 12pm at Celtic Viking Studio on the square in Georgetown, TX!
I’ve come a long way since those 2004 days and look forward to passing on the basics of what I have learned!
