Garrett & Shayli Hill of Georgetown give a look into their luxury portrait experience

To say that creating luxury family portraits for Shayli and Garrett was “fun” would be an understatement! These two have quickly become one of Georgetown’s beloved couples. Describing them as impossibly cool, and ridiculously attractive only scratches the surface! They are hilarious, smart, sweet, sarcastic, tenacious, and have huge hearts with love to spare.

It’s easy to look at their joy and assume things have been handed to them, or that life has been easy. They’ll be the first to laugh and tell you their story – one of trust, risks, service, and faith.

Shayli is the founder and owner of Restore Georgetown Physical Therapy, focusing on serving women and their needs. Her heart for empowering women is a huge gift to our community. Her list of raving fan-clients grows daily!

Garrett is the founder and owner of Apothecary Coffee, a coffee roasting company. They provide resources for cafes, and coffee subscriptions for consumers like me! (He was also the manager of 309 Coffee from it’s conception to 2020. Garrett played a huge role in making that incredible cafe what it is today.)

I love this family so much and giving them these luxury family portraits was a tremendous honor for myself and my team.

Pass the Luxury Family Portraits test: Is Dad happy?

Anna worked tirelessly throughout our experience to ensure we felt comfortable and prepared for our session— even stopping by the week before to do a wardrobe check! The morning of our session, she arrived with her assistant Ethan. They transformed our living room into a professional photography studio. Her makeup artist was phenomenal! Lisa was able to flawlessly carry out my wife’s vision for hair and makeup.

Every detail was very organized and thought out, so all we had to do was follow Anna’s direction and change into the outfits she had helped us coordinate.

[The whole time], Anna and Ethan put everyone at ease, including our 2 year-old, Rhett, who seemed as though this was part of his everyday morning routine. Anna was able to capture his enormous personality in so many of the portraits! My wife and I typically feel awkward posing for a camera, but Anna and her team were very directive throughout the staging. We [never felt] confused or uncomfortable.

After the last set of portraits, her team broke down the backdrops and made sure our house was exactly as it was when they arrived. [Anna and her team] maintained professional service throughout our entire experience. Our portraits are nothing shy of what one would find on the cover of a magazine. [This was a] luxury portrait experience!

But the real test of Luxury Family Portraits is: is Mom happy?

Anna was a dream to work with for our family portraits! She helped me plan our wardrobe. She calmed me down when my Rent the Runway order never arrived. And then she showed up with outfits in hand for me to use the day of our shoot!

Anna’s professionalism shined through during the entire process. Her direction during the shoot was incredibly helpful, and her creative talent harnessed my 2-year old’s abundant energy into breathtaking portraits! We could not be happier!
