There has been a resurgence of formal and classic family portraits.

There has been a resurgence of formal and classic family portraits.

Yes, of course there are times when you need fast and dirty photoshoot for your family. Maybe you whip out your phone with the Easter bunny or at the pumpkin patch. Maybe you get on your facebook mom group the day after Thanksgiving and type, “cheap photographer recommendations please?!?!” (Those always turn out well, don’t they? *eye roll*)

But then there are moments that are…well, momentous.

Your first official family portrait.

Your first portrait as a couple.

The portrait you choose for the entry to your home.

Your first child’s portrait (We recommend newborn, 6 months, 9 months, or 1 year).

These portraits need to be intentional, and crafted with care. Wardrobe, home colors, and the ambiance of the portrait all need to be take into consideration.

What you choose to wear says something about you, and in the same way your family portraiture speaks volumes as well.

Formal and classic family portraits that stand the test of time is the secret ingredient to massively upgrading the interior design game of your home! (and yes, interior designers agree with me on this.)

Today’s modern family is intentional. We:

  • Take into account our children’s mental health, fostering an environment of love.
  • Take ourselves seriously – but not morosely!
  • Value connection in the small moments.
  • Understand there are times to dress up and times to dress down.
  • Are unpretentious, and yet sincere in our style.
