Georgetown Headshots

Filed in: Personal Brand

Because Georgetown is growing so rapidly, I often get requests pop up for a variety of industry headshots. People ask me, “do you do that?”

And the answer is, Of course! One of the things that drew me to being a photographer was the variety of people I knew I’d get to work with. This headshot session in my Georgetown studio was no exception.

It’s true that many of my clientele are involved creative or entrepreneurial fields – like makeup artistry, skin care, or real estate.

But Melinda is actually a leader in her field of cyber security. Even as she has advanced through the ranks of a male-dominated industry, she remains the same, feminine person she’s always been. It was important to her that she feel authentic, beautiful, fun, and strong.

We created some really lovely (some sassy!) portraits she can use in a variety of ways, namely:

  • Linked-In Headshot
  • Blog post header images (mostly on linked in)
  • Photos for speaker rotation
  • Additional photos for cropping in as headshots

Georgetown, as you’re thinking, “I just need one or two headshots“, take a minute to think about where you might actually use it! Often we need more than just “one type” of headshot, or something a little different from a black suit and white shirt. Because everyone’s industry can vary widely, you may need something similar or totally opposite to what you see of Melinda below!

Tell me what your industry is in the comments!
